Your details
This page explains what happens to the details you give us through this website. If you have a question about it, email Katy at katy@wirralintheloop.uk.
Who we are
Wirral In The Loop is a networking group for independent businesses across the Wirral and Merseyside, run by Katy Elliott. Katy looks after the details people send us.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we get your name, your email address, the topic you picked and your message. We only use them to reply to you and, if you ask, to add you to the group or arrange a showcase, raffle prize or member page.
We don't sell your details or use them for anything else, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Why we're allowed to use them
Because you've told us we can, by ticking the box on the form. You can change your mind at any time.
Where they're kept and for how long
Messages from the form are stored by our website host, Netlify, and arrive in Katy's email. We keep them only as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and we delete them sooner if you ask.
Member pages
The details on each member's page (contact details, photos and where they're based) come from the business itself. If you're a member and want anything changed or taken down, email Katy.
Other services this site uses
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts and the members map from OpenStreetMap, so those services see your device's IP address when you visit. Booking links take you to SumUp, which has its own privacy policy. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Just email Katy. If you're not happy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
